The Strong Hold®TM clip sensor is made of plastic and is designed to clip outside the child’s underwear. It This sensor grips the underwear tightly at night and will not come off. It is recommended for children and deep sleepers. The patented IntelliFlex sensor used in the Chummie Alarms are made of silicone. These sensors have larger urine detection area and are taped to the outside of the underwear. We recommend Silicone sensors for children, teens and deep sleepers.
Shield alarms come with 3 alarm settings; sound only, vibration only and a combination of sound and vibration. For discreet operation, select the vibrate only option. On detecting urine, the Shield alarm will only vibrate to wake up your child and no one near them will know that the alarm has gone off
Yes! Many parents prefer to use a diaper when using the Shield Max Bedwetting Alarm to prevent sheets from getting soiled and wet. Simply attach the sensor to the outside of your child’s undergarment as shown below and wear the diaper on top. 
Single tone alarms may lead to auditory accommodation – Child getting used to any one sound. The Shiemd Max Bedwetting Alarm comes with 8 unique alerts. Each time a bedwetting accident is detected, the alarm automatically changes to the next tone. This way, your child will be played a new tone the next time bedwetting is detected.
To clean the Strong Hold sensor, lift the lever up to release the underwear and open the sensor. Now, with the sensor open, gently rinse under warm tap water with liquid soap. Rinse thoroughly to ensure there is no soap on the sensor. Now, shake the sensor to remove excess water. To dry completely, insert a dry cotton towel or napkin and wipe dry.

Getting up during the night can be very stressful for the parents when wet bed sheets have to be changed .I bought this alarm so whenever it beeps I will get up and will make my son get up before he wets the bed .But to my surprise with 8 different tones he setup different tone each night and gets up on his own. He now is becoming alert and active and is not used the alarm from past three weeks. We can have a relaxed sleep now.

The first week we used it, he would sleep right through it and wet the bed still. We don’t know why, but in the second week of use he just stopped wetting the bed. He was waking up with alarm and stopping himself from peeing, like the instructions said he would.

My son was 8 years old when we got this for him and recently turned 9. We tried a number of methods, including vibrating watch and waking him around midnight to take a preemptive potty break. It really didn’t work. He was disappointed in his inability to stop having accidents. This hurt his chances for sleep-overs and ruined his confidence. We tried this alarm and it worked right away. Within two months he began not wearing it for a night and a night became a week, etc. So small, but works and works very well.

This is the best purchase I have made for my son. This product works. My 6 year-old is a crazy deep sleeper, so it took a bit longer that was indicated, but it WORKS! . My son had no complaints about the product whatsoever he started getting up dry within few weeks of using it. Product praise aside, the company has wonderful customer service and support. My son is 11 and had occasional accidents because he slept so soundly. I was going to take him to a specialist but I decided to try this first. The alarm would wake him up immediately and he would get up and be able to go to the bathroom. After a few weeks he has quit using it and is doing much better at night. I would definitely recommend trying this.

So far so good! We have been using this product to help our daughter who is extremely a very deep sleeper to wake up and use the bathroom at night. Since we started using it, no accidents. The loud alert tones and vibration has helped her get up the moment there is slight wetness. Now she is becoming aware of her need to go to the bathroom. My 7 year old is a very hard sleeper. I have asked his doctor during checkups what to do and he told us the benefits of bedwetting alarms. I found this item and it seemed to have good reviews. Was the only thing that helped my deep sleeper son realize when he was releasing his bladder in his sleep However we never had dry pull ups and he was showing no signs of doing this himself. It took 3 nights with the alarm to going from him to drop from waking twice a night to once a night. By night 5 he woke by himself before the alarm ever went off. We just started using this item and it’s really good. The alarm and vibration is plenty loud, but for deep sleepers, they will definitely need a parent to help them wake and remind them to go to the bathroom. Highly recommend this product for bedwetters of ANY age!!!

If I could give this alarm ten stars I would. My child has had wetting problem for a few years now. We tried everything I mean everything. We even had a different bed wetting alarm that did not last .This one has given us no problem. My 10 year old son had to be in pull ups till we decided to buy an alarm recommended by our pediatrician. I could not believe that within three weeks he didn’t even need it. I have to say that this is the best money I have ever spent on a product. My 8 year old boy has stopped wetting his bed in days. Its been exactly 15 days, but he has not had one urine related accident in the last 3 days. . Can’t believe that he is sleeping dry. Like most children his age, my son is a DEEP SLEEPER. I mean really very deep. Within a week, he started getting up to the alarm on his own. He was disoriented when he woke and I still had to help him go to the bathroom (and clean/dry). A week after that he had his first series of dry nights and I can’t tell you how happy we all were.

My son is 9 years old and is wetting the bed regularly. We wanted a very compact alarm for him. We found this alarm right for him. It’s very easy to use if you follow the instructions. This alarm is very responsive and my son would be awakened with loud beeps but only problem we found with this alarm is the sensor that would come off frequently so the progress became slow. We contacted the company they tried to solve the problem and finally sent us a new alarm

We were getting frustrated with my daughter’s nighttime wetness issues. I bought this for my oldest daughter, age 7 who was wetting every night. She almost never had a dry night since she became potty trained. The first two weeks of use were tough with many accidents, and I had to assist my daughter every time the alarm went off. But it really worked in few weeks. She is no longer wearing pull ups and we have even stopped putting the alarm on her. . I don’t EVER leave reviews, but I so strongly believe in this product that I feel I need to. My son is 9 1/2 and has struggled for years at night with bed wetting. We tried waking him up, meds, setting an alarm clock, chiropractor, and limiting his fluid intake before bed. Nothing worked. At his physical last fall we went to a nurse practitioner that we had never seen before. She suggested we try a bed wetting alarm. Specifically thru One Stop. I went online and it was so easy to do and order. I bought the Shield Max product because it was reasonable in price and had good reviews. The first few nights the alarm didn’t even stir him. He is such a heavy sleeper. So, I literally had to pick him up and drag him to the bathroom. (He is too big to carry!) 🙂 After a week with no success…I called customer service to see if I maybe needed a different/louder alarm. The gentleman on the phone was so amazing and helpful! He assured me that the process sometimes takes a little time and to be patient. This could have been a time where he could have sold me a more expensive item, but he was thoughtful, supportive and honest. After another week or so – my son started hearing the alarm. He has been accident free for a solid month now. He is so proud of himself too! I would recommend this project to anyone. The only thing I will say is that he didn’t like wearing a shirt to bed, so I found an old ipod holder that you strap to your arm that I had used for running and put that on his arm and then clipped the shield alarm to. That worked perfect. This product was also so small and discreet that he could bring it to a friends for a sleep over and it wasn’t a big deal. My advice would be to be patient and believe in the process. It truly does work.

Shield is so easy to work with even my six year old can put it properly .Before using this my son was wetting the bed almost every night. Within two weeks it helped him wake up right away after it sensed wetness. Now after five weeks he is sleeping all night with no accidents. I would recommend this alarm surely for bedwetting.
