Shield Prime Bedwetting Alarms come with 3 alarm settings; sound only, vibration only and a combination of sound and vibration. Either setting can be used at night to alert your child. It is recommended to use sound and vibration together to wake up deep sleepers.
The Shield Prime is the perfect alarm for children who move at night. Shield alarms come with Strong Hold sensors which clip tightly to the outside of the underwear so they wont fall off when your child moves at night.
It is recommended that the Shield alarm be clipped to the pajama top. However this may not work for all children, particularly those children who are belly sleepers. In that case, we recommend using a Comfy-Armband . The Comfy Armband acts as a secure holder and your child will love that they are wearing an armband at night!
To clean the Strong Hold sensor, lift the lever up to release the underwear and open the sensor. Now, with the sensor open, gently rinse under warm tap water with liquid soap. Rinse thoroughly to ensure there is no soap on the sensor. Now, shake the sensor to remove excess water. To dry completely, insert a dry cotton towel or napkin and wipe dry.
Yes! Many parents prefer to use a diaper when using the Shield Max Bedwetting Alarm to prevent sheets from getting soiled and wet. Simply attach the sensor to the outside of your child’s undergarment as shown below and wear the diaper on top.

Very good alarm that detects urine very fast. My son is very very heavy sleeper so sometime he would not get up even the alarm volume is full. I feel if they some extra loud tone for more deep sleeper like my son this alarm may be more helpful.

It was affordable. It comes with all the instructions you need. When the sensor feels moisture the alarm will flash a light, vibrate and make a noise. This is how it trains a child not to wet the bed. Seems straightforward and it is. Worked very well for my 8-year old

This has really helped us. Our son is 9 and he was wetting the bed every night. The only solution we had was to take him to the bathroom before he went to the bed. We practiced setting it up and told her what to do when it goes off in the middle of the night. The sensor fixes very tightly on the underwear and is extremely reliable. The only issue is cleaning the sensor at night when it gets wet. A quick thing to do is to shake it and then clean with a q-tip. Other than that, we have no issues or suggestions for improvement. Just a few weeks into using this alarm and she has been dry ever since.

I hesitated getting, thinking these alarms were just hype, but honestly did the trick for our teen boy. He was starting to get embarrassed and couldn’t go on sleepovers without worrying. I have a 7 year son who never had a dry night – pullups nightly and even those sometimes overflowed I am AMAZED that we have not used a pullup or changed sheets since using the alarm 4 weeks ago. Completely worth it!

We have a 11-year-old son who has had a problem with night time wetting all his life. We tried medication with limited success. We had tried every suggestion out there, limiting drinks, waking him up in the middle of the night but nothing was successful. After reading all of the positive reviews for this product, I decided to order it. Within the first week of use only, we saw great improvements. Now almost done with week three he has been completely dry for 10 days!!!

Our son was a deep sleeper and every morning it was “wet pull-up again”. After years of diapers and the Doctor telling us our son would “grow out of it” and offering us a prescription, we decided to try this alarm. I’m so glad we did. After 5 weeks, he no longer has to wear the alarm.

We really don’t like changing wet sheets so we made him wear it for about 4 months. He stopped wearing it all together about 2 months ago and hasn’t really had any issues.

So I wanted to give Shield alarm a couple of weeks before leaving a review. I absolutely love it. I was having lot of trouble coping up with my teen age daughter getting up wet every morning. She also wanted permanent remedy. We both with our combined decision decided to buy this alarm. She followed the instructions very well. To my surprise It showed the result in 2 weeks. She has not used the alarm from last six weeks and there is no relapse. Wonderful Product!!!

My son is 8 years old and is a very deep sleeper. We have tried many different techniques to wake him, and help him stay dry and nothing worked. Finally, we found the right solution our family doctor suggested us to use bedwetting alarm that could develop a brain and bladder connection to make child understand his urge to go to the bathroom in the night. This alarm is wonderful and is very effective.

My 6-year-old daughter and I are so grateful to have found this! The poor girl has been wetting her bed multiple times each night her whole life because she is a very deep sleeper. I even tried waking her up in the night to use the toilet and she would just sleep on the toilet! After only one and a half weeks with the alarm, she is completely dry every night!

Worked within 2 weeks! I highly recommend it – it does take some parent participation in the first week or so to make sure they actually wake up and go. We had dry bed in just 2 weeks.

Excellent product that far exceeds any of the other bed wetting alarms on the market The alarm is loud enough to wake her up but no so loud that I’m worried about it damaging her hearing. Its easy to get on and off and the alarm is really sensitive so it starts going off the instant she starts to wet.I can see.a huge improvement in a short amount of time.

I’ve never felt strongly enough to review a product before now. This alarm worked like a charm. We are now on week 6 and my 7-year-old has been dry for 2 weeks! We tried everything. Waking him up at night, taking the nappies away and let him wet the sheets. All without any result. We were optimistic that it would work after reading the many favorable reviews, but had no expectation that within a couple of weeks, our son would no longer wet the bed. He made huge progress within very short period of time and learned how to wake himself up to go to the bathroom; the amount of liquid he had before bed was irrelevant. We are simply astounded at how well it worked, and we hope you have the same measure of success we did with our son.

Wow, I can’t believe it; my son is wearing underwear to bed now and staying dry! I never would have thought this bedwetting alarm would work, but it is. We have tried this a few times, but it doesn’t wake my daughter up. I tried it with her in my bed with me and it woke me up, so I got her up and took her to the bathroom. The alarm will not go off unless you dry the sensor off or unplug it from the unit. Has shown no result so far.

My 7 year old son wanted to stop bed wetting and enjoy sleepovers and camps. After much research, I found this product. I wish I had found it sooner! My son was on-board right form start, and extremely motivated to try out the alarm. which helped. I have had a positive experience with my older son who used another more expensive alarm a few years ago.
The alarm is loud and I was worried it didn’t wake him up at first. After not waking him up for 2 weeks, I called the company and hey explained that it does indeeed take time to stop bedwetting. They were kind enough to explain the process and how much time it typically takes with alarms.
Ans they were right!
After approximately 8 weeks of using the alarm he no longer wets the bed. Most nights he sleeps dry throughout the night, other nights, he wakes up to use the bathroom. Since he has discontinued the alarm, he has not had a single accident. I hope it stays that way.
